Enclosure and tuning knobs in special colours
As standard practice in customised production, we extrude natural plastic granulate and colour it according to your specifications. In individual cases, we use colour batches – here, colour additives are blended into the natural material and processed directly during part manufacturing on the machine.

Individual colour configurations are available based on samples, colour chips, RAL or Pantone references. However, depending on the enclosure or rotary knob, there may be limitations in colour and material selection due to production constraints. Please contact us for expert guidance.
From standard to custom colour

The minimum quantity for injection moulding depends on the enclosure, tuning knob or accessory component.
What you should consider when choosing an enclosure/tuning knob in a special colour
- Due to production constraints, not all OKW enclosures and tuning knobs can be manufactured in special materials. As an alternative to special injection moulding in individual colours, we also offer painting services. - For production reasons, colour deviations of up to Delta E 2.5 may occur compared to your colour definition.
- The surface quality may deviate slightly from the standard due to colour and material.
- Colour additives can change the material properties, e.g. flammability classification according to UL 94 V-x.
- Raw material manufacturers offer standard colour palettes, which reduces delivery times. The selection of already certified plastics guarantees the material properties and saves additional costs for any certification that may be required.
