Pablo Picasso (1881–1973), the famous Spanish painter, expressed this aptly when he said: “Colours follow changes in emotions in the same way as facial features”. This highlights the fact that colours can be used as a powerful form of expression. They influence our everyday lives and our decisions – consciously or unconsciously.

The desire for something special  

We are attracted to visually appealing things. They evoke a positive response, even if their technical characteristics are identical to those of other products. OKW enclosures and tuning knobs are characterised by their high design quality and are available in a range of subtle colours as standard. However, our customers can extend the limits of the ‘standard’ models and design customised products, especially through colour. Application-specific solutions, such as visual differentiation, integration into existing product lines or compliance with specific corporate identity requirements, make subsequent painting the ideal option. On request, OKW can offer a high-quality, UV-resistant two-component coating. The available colours cover tones from the RAL system as well as a wide range of Pantone shades, prepared in our own mixing facility. This ensures not only consistent quality but also short delivery times. Alternatively, colours can be specified according to a customer’s sample.

  From matt to glossy, depending on your needs. Matt coatings minimise light reflections, while gloss finishes create an elegant and modern appearance. In addition, they improve the surface’s scratch resistance.

  Special black coatings to improve electrostatic discharge properties.

Tactile improvement with soft-touch coating 

As an addition to our portfolio, the soft-touch coating provides a distinctive tactile experience. It gives your products a velvety soft surface, ensuring that handheld devices are comfortable and safe to use. Soft-touch coatings are available in black or transparent as standard. The black version is applied directly to the primer, while the transparent option can be used as a finish – applied directly onto your chosen colour. It is applied in the final production stage, creating a unique, leather-like surface with a fascinating effect.
